ACC Men’s T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup

The 15-member Sri Lanka ‘A’ team led by SSC and Sri Lanka middle order batsman Nuwanidu Fernando left yesterday for Oman to take part in the ACC Men’s T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup which will be held at the Oman Cricket Academy ground from 18-27 October.

The team comprises seven national cricketers – Nuwanidu Fernando, Lahiru Udara, Lasith Croospulle, Sahan Arachchige, Ramesh Mendis, Dushan Hemantha and Nimesh Vimukthi, and several players who have performed well with the Sri Lanka ‘A’ team on their recent tour of South Africa.
