Old Trinitians win Rugby Sevens in Aussie

Old Trinitians won the Touch Rugby Sevens organised by the Old Kingswoodians in Melbourne, Australia recently.

Trinity beat Dharmaraja 12/5 in the semi-final with Isuru Ratnayake and Kanchana Ramanayake scoring a try each for the Lions. In the final encounter they beat Atkins Rugby Club 19/5. All three tries were scored by Trinity 2019 skipper Reshan Bandaranayake. Reshan also won the Player of the Tournament award as well.

Old Trinitians also won the over 40 event beating S. Thomas 10/5 in the final. Dilip Selvam won the over 40 Best Player award. (SJ)
