Pakistan U19 won the 3rd Youth ODI played against Sri Lanka U19, which took place at the MRICS, Hambantota today, thus taking a lead in the ongoing series by 2-1.
Winning the toss, the visitors asked Sri Lanka to bat and the Lankans were all out for 183 runs scored in 48.3 overs. Kamil Mishara top scored for the home team, scoring 73 runs of 117 balls. He dispatched the ball to the boundary five times, whilst Sonal Dinusha made 32 runs from 64 balls.
In bowling for Pakistan, Akhtar Shah captured 4 wickets by conceding 19 runs in 9.3 overs, whilst Junaid Khan took 02 wickets for 38 runs in his 10 overs.
In reply, Pakistan U19 managed to chase the target in 46 overs. Skipper Rohail Nazir was the top scorer of his team, making 76 runs from 117 balls. He made 6 boundaries.
In bowling for Sri Lanka, Dilshan Madushanka captured 02 wickets by conceding 43 runs in 09 overs, whilst Rohan Sanjaya captured 2 wickets for 46 runs, conceded in 10 overs.
The fourth game will be played tomorrow, 2 June, at the MRICS, Hambantota.
