Pakistan cricket squad hit by COVID-19

A member of the Pakistan Test squad player support personnel is in isolation after he was tested positive for COVID-19 on arrival on Thursday.

Malang Ali, the masseur, underwent a rapid antigen test and was found to be positive. He will now undergo a five-day isolation period and will be allowed to come out of isolation upon returning a negative RAT test on the fifth day.

The Pakistan cricket team arrived for a two-Test series with Sri Lanka starting at Galle on 16 July.

Pakistan will play a three-day warm-up game at the Colts grounds commencing 11 July ahead of the Test series.
