Pakistan levelled the five-match U19 youth ODI series against Sri Lanka when they won the second match by 59 runs at Karachi on Tuesday.
Opting to bat first after winning the toss, Pakistan posted a total of 254 largely through a fine knock of 95 off 66 balls (2 sixes) from Arafat Minhas and a steady half-century from opener Shamyl Hussain (53 off 84 balls, 3 fours, 2 sixes).
Sri Lanka folded up for 195 with none of the batsmen going on to convert their starts to make a big contribution.
The third U19 youth ODI will be played on 27 October at the same venue.
