Pan Asia Bank recently organised a football champions trophy for schools in North and East in partnership with Mastercard.
The Pan Asia Master Card Championship Trophy was aimed at young people for harmony, sportsmanship and thrive for excellence.
MasterCard International, a globally recognised financial technology company that operates as one of the leading providers of electronic payment solutions in Sri Lanka who is also the issuer platform for the Pan Asia Credit cards as well.
The Pan Asia MasterCard Champions Trophy provided an opportunity for over 20 schools in the Vavuniya district to compete for the championship trophy. The event took place at the Young Stars Sports Club and Urban Council Grounds.
Prominent figures celebrated the occasion with their attendance, including the Chief Risk Officer Pan Asia Bank Rangith Rajendran, MasterCard Country Manager for Sri Lanka and Maldives Sandun Hapugoda, Account Manager Buddhika Amunugama, Chief Manager Branch Credit of Pan Asia Bank H. J. Umaharan as well as the Regional Manager Arul Kumaran and Branch Manager Joseph Ravankumar. The public’s passion for football and their active participation provided a surreal atmosphere for the event.
