With ABB FIA Formula E Championship approaching its halfway mark, the Panasonic Jaguar Racing Team is fighting at Number 8.
At Saturday’s Sanya, China race, Panasonic Jaguar Racing’s young Mitch Evans finished at ninth place, an improvement after he started at Number 20.
Mitch is ranked joint 10th in overall driver standing with 36 points along with Mahindra Racing’s Pascal Wehrlein.
The other competitor from Panasonic Jaguar Racing team Nelson Piquet Jr., who failed to finish the Sanya race, is ranked at Number 19. BMW I Andretti Motorsport’s A. Felix de Costa leads drivers standing with 62 points.
Jaguar Racing is placed eighth in team rankings with 37 points whilst Envision Virgin Racing is on top with 97 points, along with Mahindra Racing enjoying the same score. The remaining races of ABB FIA Formula E will be held in Rome and Paris in April, Monaco and Berlin in May, Switzerland in June and New York in July including the final. Sanya’s race, first for the beach resort, is after previous races in Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Chile, Mexico and Hong Kong SAR, China.
