Peter’s edge out Joes in a thriller

St Peter’s College beat St Joseph’s By 25 points (3 tries, 2 conversions, 1 penalty, 1 drop goal) to 24 points (3 tries, 3 conversions, 1 penalty) win in their Schools Under 20 rugby encounter played at Havelock Park yesterday.

At the short breather Joes led 21/3.

The contest was for Father Basil Wirathunge Trophy. Out of the 62 encounters played, Peter’s have won 42 and Joes 15 with five matches ending in a draw.
