Pasindu Bandara and Vishanka Silva were outstanding for the defending champions. At the short breather, winners led by 24/3.

After the turn around Peterites started to relax while Royal made a brave comeback into the game. Pathirana was outstanding for the Royal outfit by scoring two tries and on attack he split the Peterite defence number of times. With Royal three quarters exposed to maximum it’s a big question on their aim to regain the league this year around.
