Pilcher, Squalery triumphant at Trinity inter-house rugby tourney

The Trinity College Under-12 and Under-14 inter-house rugby encounters were worked off at the Pallekelle Rugby Stadium in front of an appreciative crowd. 

The Under-12 encounter was won by Pilcher House while Squalery House emerged victorious in the Under-14 segment.

The Under-12 and Under-14 events were fought out between Pilcher, Gibson, Saunders, Sahayam and Squalery houses.

This event was well organised and headed by Director of Sports, Alex Lazarus, and Prefect of Games, Shane de Silva.

Trinity’s Under-10, Under-12 and Under-14 rugby teams will play Isipathana (16 June), Royal College (23 June), S. Thomas’ (30 June), Wesley (7 July), St Joseph’s (14 July), St Anthony’s (1 September), Kingswood (8 September) and Dharmaraja (15 September). (SJ)
