The Singer League 2019 Plate segment encounters will be worked off at the Nittawela Rugby Stadium in Kandy and Sugathadasa Stadium in Colombo. 

Out of the 8 teams in the Plate segment, the majority are from outstations (Kandy and Kurunegala) with only D S Senanayake and Zahira representing the Colombo schools. The majority of the games will be worked off at the Nittawela Rugby Stadium in Kandy. Out of the 8 teams, which will play in two groups, four will book their berth for the Cup segment in 2020 if they end on top 2 in their respective groups. All points earned in Round 1 will be carried forward for Round 2.
