Police Sports Club edged out Army Sports Club by 29 points (four tries, three conversions, one penalty) to 26 points (four tries, three conversions) in their Western Province Rugby Football Union (WPRFU) XV-a-side rugby encounter which concluded at Police Park.

At the short breather winners led 19/12. Man of the Match was Niroshan Silva.
