The President of the international aquatic sport’s governing body, FINA Captain Husain Al Musallam arrived in Sri Lanka today on a two-day courtesy visit at the invitation of the National Olympic Committee President Suresh Subramaniam.

The President who took over the office last year will meet with the officials of the Sri Lanka Aquatic Sports Union (SLASU) the national governing body and the Youth and Sports Minister, whilst also getting an overview of aquatic sports in Sri Lanka. Captain Husain, as he is popularly known in the sporting world, is also the Director General of the Olympic Council of Asia and the Kuwait Olympic Committee Secretary General.
