Nutrition brand Prima Stella Dairy announced its partnership with Chamika Karunaratne, as it onboarded the Sri Lankan cricketing sensation, as the new Brand Ambassador to carry forward the brand promise of inspiring Sri Lankans to “Be Healthy, Be Active”.
An all-rounder in the sporting arena, Chamika Karunaratne has excelled in multiple sports, making a mark as a national badminton player, junior national champion in javelin, and a national cricketer who has won the hearts and minds of an entire island nation with his healthy and active stance on field.
Karunaratne said: “Ever since I was a kid, I learned to embrace a very healthy and active lifestyle that supported my superior performance. Looking at the Brand Ambassadorship with Prima Stella Dairy through such a lens, the fact that the brand is deeply invested in encouraging Sri Lankans to eat healthy, stay active and to explore life itself was remarkable to me.”
During his schooling years at Royal College, Colombo, the sporting star has captained the athletics, badminton, and cricket teams. He was twice awarded the coveted Royal Crown award, the pinnacle of achievement for sportsmen in Royal College and is the only Royalist to date to be recognised under all levels of the award. As a brand that envisions positive change, Prima Stella Dairy constantly strives to encourage young generations to be healthy and active, and we believe our partnership with Chamika Karunaratne is a step in the right direction.”
