Sri Lanka Under-19 cricketers warmed up for the upcoming ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup with a convincing 119-run win over Bangladesh Under-19 in a warm-up match played at Pretoria on Sunday.
A fine all-round performance by opener Pulindu Perera who scored a half-century off 64 balls (6 fours) and took two wickets for five runs with his off breaks, saw Sri Lanka score 238-9 and restrict Bangladesh to 119-9.
Perera’s opening partner Vishen Halambage also shone with 30 and figures of 3/38 of medium pace.
