Quadrangle Golf Championship 2022: Eagle Golf Link wins

The Eagles Quadrangle Championship 2022 was won by Eagle Golf Link which was organised and worked off at their golf Course in China Bay, Trincomalee last weekend. This was the third event organised by Sri Lanka Air Force. 

Earlier they successfully completed the Commanders Cup and Monsoons Cup. 

Teams from Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC), Victoria Golf Resort (VGR), Nuwara Eliya Golf Club (NEGC) and Eagles Golf Link (EGL) participated at this debut encounter which was a first time in Sri Lankan golf history where four teams playing in the same tournament was a special feature. 

The event saw 60 golfers taking part for the four teams and going forward this will be Board event.

Winners, Eagle Golf Link got 264 points while runner up RCGC received 254 points with VGR coming third with 253 points. NEGC was placed 4th with 238 points. 

Each team after their 18 holes were selected with the top 10 scores for the final count.This event was exclusively sponsored by SLT Mobitel.

  • Longest drive (Gents): Prabhath Gamage (RCGC)
  • Longest Drive (Ladies): Dhanushi Senadhira
