Chamari Athapaththu batting for Oval Invincibles 

Chamari Athapaththu the Sri Lanka Women’s Cricket Captain had a quite start on her debut in The Hundred Women’s competition in England for Oval Invincibles.

Opening the batting she was dismissed for 1 in her first match at the Oval and 5 in the second at Lord’s. However in her third outing at Manchester, Athapaththu got her bearings right scoring 33 off 36 balls (5 fours) to guide her team to victory by 7 wickets.

Invincibles lie in second position with three wins in five matches and seven points.
