Shamal Perera won the Captains Cup 2022

Shamal Perera was in sensational form winning the Captains Cup 2022 which took place at the Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC) course last weekend. Adam Mario Fernando ended as the second best in the main event.

Meanwhile 17 year old youngster, Yannik Kumara was in sparkling form accounting for the gross win with aggregate of 142 points pushing Reshan Algama 143 points to the runner up position in the same event. Shamal Perera was placed third with a gross score of 146 points. More than 200 golfers teed off in two days of colourful golf at the RCGC.

In the ladies event, Danushi Senadhira got the better of Usha de Silva.
