RCHC take part in prestigious Singapore International Hockey Sixes

Royal College Hockey Club will take part in the silver jubilee tournament of the Singapore International Hockey Sixes organised by the Singapore Cricket Club this weekend. 

The champions at the 2018 nine-a-side hockey Colombo Hockey Association (CHA) tournament is led by former Sri Lanka Junior National Captain Shahid Kuthubdeen and coached by former National Coach Rohan Dissanayake. 

The tournament will see 40 men’s and 24 ladies teams including international teams from Australia. The competitions will comprise of a league on Saturday 2 March, followed by knock-out competition comprising of Cup, Plate and Bowl Competitions on Sunday 3 March. The Finals of the respective Cup, Plate and Bowl Competitions will be played late on Sunday afternoon.   

RCHC takes part in the tournament for the first time and it is the first foreign tour of the team in 14 years.
