Rahula College Matara defeated Hartley College Jaffna by seven wickets to win the sixth Battle of the Ends on Sunday afternoon to retain the Manimaran-Wijesiriwardena Trophy for the sixth consecutive time.

Electing to bat first the home team were unable to get the better of the Rahula bowlers and were restricted to 92 runs which visitors chased down in 23 overs with seven wickets in hand.

Best Batsman – Sasinu Battage (Rahula College) for his 31 off 11 balls 

Best Bowler – Nadil Sandesh (Rahula College) for his figures of 7-2-12-2

Best Fielder – Jayanimalan Thivyan (Hartley College)

Man of the Match – Nadil Sandesh (Rahula College) 2-12 and 32 not out
