Rain washes out play in all six matches

All six matches scheduled to be played yesterday in the SLC Major T20 inter-club tournament were abandoned without a ball bowled because of rain. The matches that were down for decision were at Colts grounds – Negombo CC v Sebastianites and BRC v NCC; at Moratuwa – Chilaw Marians CC v Panadura SC and Tamil Union v Colts; and at Maggona – Nugegoda SWC v Ragama CC and Kandy Customs CC v Police SC. Each of the clubs were awarded one point.
