Dharmaraja College edged out Sri Sumangala Kandy 21/14 at the Trinity College Rugby Stadium in Pallekele.

At the short breather Rajans led 14/7.

Rajans tries were scored by Vishal Udangamuwa, Harsha Rodrig, Tharinda Kapuwatta with Saumya Wijesiri doing the kicking duties. For the losers Mahesh Kavinda and Umesh Weerakoon did the scoring with Umesh doing the kicking duties.

Vidyartha will be the fourth team to be promoted to the top division in 2020. This will result in five teams from Kandy namely, Trinity, St. Anthony’s, Dharmaraja, Kingswood and Vidyartha playing in the top division among the 12 teams.
