The Pakistan v India Asia Cup Super 4s match scheduled for Sunday, 10 September at the R. Premadasa Cricket Stadium will have a reserve day. If by any chance adverse weather suspends play during the match, it will be continued the next day (11 September) from the point it was suspended.
In such an eventuality, ticket holders are advised to hold onto their match tickets which will remain valid and will be utilised for the reserve day.
This change has been incorporated due to a request by the broadcasters who stand to lose in revenue if the match is not played to a finish.
The Group A match between Pakistan and India at the Pallekele Cricket Stadium ended in a no-result after bad weather allowed only one innings to be completed.
The Asia Cup final on 17 September at the R. Premadasa Stadium will anyway have a reserve day.
