Roshan Allang was elected President

of the Colombo Malay Cricket Club (CMCC), the oldest Ceylonese cricket club, at its 153rd Annual General Meeting held on 23 February.

Allang played a pivotal role in the CMCC gaining promotion to Tier B of Sri Lanka Cricket tournament following a historic Governor’s Trophy triumph in 2022. A former President of Lanka Lions in the UAE, he served as General Secretary and Club Captain prior to heading CMCC.
