Rousing welcome for 2024 Paralympic Games Silver medallist Samitha Dulan

Athlete Samitha Dulan, who set a new world record and won the silver medal at the 2024 Paralympic Games held in Paris, France, returned to Sri Lanka yesterday,

Dulan participated in the javelin throwing event under the F-44 category of this tournament and won this victory and he had also participated in the Paralympic tournament held in Tokyo, Japan and won a bronze medal.

To welcome Dulan, his beloved wife, child, his mother, as well as a group of officials including the National Paralympic Committee Chairman Deepal Perera, a group of officials including the Ministry of Sports Director General Rear Admiral Shemal Fernando, and officials from the Sports Department of the Sri Lanka Army were present at the Bandaranaike International Airport.
