Royal outclass Antonians

Royal College ended their Dialog Schools Under-19 Rugby League 2023 campaign when they outclassed Antonians 37/14 at the Bogambara Stadium in Kandy on Saturday.This win gave the Reid Avenue outfit number 2 slot but they along with Thomians have decided to keep away from the Knockout trophy this year.

Royal scored their tries through Tanvir Hassen, Afeef Akram (2), Kavinesh Srikanth and Thineth Gamage. Yabeel Yehya converted three of them and also put over three penalties for the visitors. The home team’s two tries were scored by Tyron Mariyadas and Dasintha Amarakoon both were converted by their skipper, Sahan Keerthisiri.

Referee was Raveen Alexander.
