SAFF Football Championship: SL face B’desh in opener

Sri Lankan outfit at the 

warm-up session yesterday 

The Sri Lanka football outfit will play Bangladesh in the opening encounter of the SAFF Tournament in Maldives today (1 October).

The Sri Lankan outfit had their training of two weeks in Saudi Arabia. The outfit is led by Sujan Perera. Sri Lanka's only win in this format came in 1995 under  Sampath Perera 

in Colombo.
