SAGT to sponsor Women’s Rugby in tandem

• Women’s Inter Club Rugby Sevens on 26 May

Women’s Inter Club Rugby Sevens 2019 will be worked off on 26 May at the Havelock Park. 

Sailors will defend their title with Soldiers all out to give a good account of themselves at this annual event. Kick-off is scheduled at 10 a.m.

After round one, teams will be moving forward to Shield, Bowl, Plate and Cup segments according to their performances. This tournament will be used as a yardstick to select the initial pool for the Asian Sevens 2019, which will be worked off in South Korea, China and Sri Lanka. SAGT, proud sponsors of Women’s rugby once again has come forward to sponsor this event. SAGT Chief Commercial Officer Ted Muttiah will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest.
