SLAS back in business

Sri Lanka Automobile Sports (SLAS) has resumed its position as the governing body for motor racing in Sri Lanka after the Court of Appeal issued an interim order suspending the operation of the interim committee appointed on 9 August.

Accordingly, the said interim committee placed in terms of the said Gazette Extraordinary is not valid in law, states a media release from SLAS secretary Shehan de Tissera.
