SLB conducts successful training program for coaches in Ratnapura

Sri Lanka Badminton (SLB) conducted a successful training program targetting coaches of the Sabaragamuwa region, at the Ratnapura Indoor Sports Complex. Piloted by the guidance of SLB President Rohan de Silva, the one-day program was spearheaded by SLB Training and Development Committee Chairman Buddhika de Silva, where coaches from Embilipitiya, Balangoda and Ratnapura participated. 

The training program provided the much-needed insights and technical knowledge for the aspiring badminton coaches, who received the basics of the trade by SLB experts. This coach’s training program is conducted by SLB with the sole purpose of adhering professionalism into badminton coaching, and to uplift the skill-levels and technical knowledge of the coaches. SLB intends to produce international level coaches who could guide aspiring badminton players to reach global standards.
