SLBC’s Sports Weekly program hosts Bandula Waranapura

The Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC), the pioneer radio broadcaster in Sri Lanka interviewed Bandula Waranapura, the first Sri Lankan test cricket captain, on their new sports program “The Sports Weekly”, aired every Saturday at 7.05pm on the frequency of 97.4 and 97.6. The purpose of the program is to provide up to date sports information to the listeners both locally and around the world. SLBC featured Nelson Mendis and Sidath Wettimuny in an earlier program. The program is presented by Amitha Abeynaike and Chandana De Silva. This was initiated by Daya. W. Hiniduma and produced by Sujeewa Priyashanth.
