Sri Lanka Cricket yesterday entered into a partnership with the Long Island Clothing Company (LiCC Jeans) to provide casual wear for all national cricket teams.

LiCC came on board as the official casual clothing partner of Sri Lanka Cricket.

Under this partnership LiCC will provide casual apparel to the men’s national team, women’s national team, the ‘A’ team, the development squad, the Under-19 team and Sri Lanka Cricket’s officials.

SLC CEO Ashley De Silva said Sri Lanka Cricket was extremely happy to partner LiCC Jeans. “We think LiCC’s cool, collected, brazen and bold attitude goes exactly in line with Sri Lanka Cricket team’s approach in playing the game,” he added.

Hirdaramani Group of Companies Director Vinod Hirdaramani noted that since its launch 10 years ago the company has come up with contemporary styles associated with high fashion.

“With LiCC’s modern design sense and cutting-edge innovations, the brand appeal and the wide coverage of Sri Lanka Cricket, this promises to be an unbeatable and winning partnership,” he stressed.

The t-shirts and jeans which the national teams will wear during their travels and on home tours will thus be no different.

LiCC is a subsidiary of the blue chip Hirdaramani Group which has a wide network of companies in the apparel, leisure, power, Information Technology and retail industry. The company has extended its presence across six countries with over 60,000 employees and is known as a company with a broad vision and capacity to explore novel ventures.
