SLC fast bowling coach quits

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) said yesterday that national team fast bowling coach David Sekar had announced his resignation from his position with immediate effect. Sekar cited personal reasons for his decision.

Sekar had joined Sri Lanka Cricket on 8 December 2019.

His resignation comes five days before Sri Lanka is set to leave for the West Indies to play two Tests, three one-day internationals and three Twenty20 matches.

Last month Paul Khoury, SLC’s Sports Science and Medicine Manager resigned as well citing personal reasons.
