SLC pays tribute to late legendary cricketer Shane Warne

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) paid a tribute to the late Australian cricketing legend Shane Warne prior to the commencement of the first Test between Sri Lanka and Australia at the Galle International Cricket Stadium yesterday.

SLC president Shammi Silva presented a glass case mounted silver plaque with the words “In Sri Lankan hearts you shall remain a legend of the game of cricket and humanity” to Cricket Australia CEO Nick Hockley in the presence of SLC Management Committee members and past Sri Lankan cricketers which included World Cup winning captain Arjuna Ranatunga.
