SLR appreciates Referees Commendable act

Sri Lanka Rugby (SLR) appreciated for the dedicated service rendered by referees at the recently concluded Under 18 All Island Inter School sevens which took place at Bogambara Stadium recently.

Gihan Yatawara, S. Arunashantha and Hashantha Weranga were rewarded by Nippon Paint and Signature at an event which took place at the Sri Lanka Rugby Head Quarters in Colombo 7.

The incident took place between Wesley and Trinity when a Wesley player was about to collapse on the field referee Arunashantha was quick to act on the call made by Weranga to bring the player to safety.
