SLT-Mobitel powers 2024 Masters World Series Indoor Cricket Tournament

SLT-Mobitel Fibre’s high-speed internet service and PEOTV recently powered the thrilling 2024 Masters World Series Indoor Cricket Tournament, broadcasting the event in stunning HD quality from start to finish.

SLT-Mobitel’s partnership was instrumental in delivering high-speed data connections through SLT-Mobitel Fibre, enabling seamless streaming of the live event across multiple platforms for both local and overseas viewers. The event concluded with impressive results, totalling over 400,000 viewers and securing a digital media reach of over 2 million throughout the tournament.

The 2024 Masters World Series Indoor Cricket Tournament was hosted as a grand event by the Ceylon Indoor Cricket Association in Sri Lanka for the first time in 20 years. It was held from 27 September to 05 October at the U Pro Colombo International Indoor Sports Complex in Thalawathugoda. 42 teams from 9 countries, and more than 500 competitors, participated in the competition. The Tournament was held under different age groups and qualified in the preliminaries and semi-finals. However, the Sri Lankan team was did not qualify for the finals. 

The championship was split between venues in the United Arab Emirates, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, and Sri Lanka.
