SLT Speedup Cycle Sawariya flags off

The winners of day one - winner Sandun Kumara of the Sri Lanka Navy team, first runner-up Sujith Hasantha of the Sri Lanka Ports Authority team and second runner-up Chamod De Silva also of the Sri Lanka Ports Authority team alongside SLT representatives and other officials 

SLT Speedup Cycle Sawariya commenced at the Galle Face Green yesterday. 

SLT Group Chairman Kumarasinghe Sirisena, SLT Chief Executive Officer Kiththi Perera, SLT Chief Operating Officer Priyantha Fernandez, SLT Chief Marketing Officer Prabhath Dahanayake and Cycling Federation of Sri Lanka (CFSL) President N. Karunaratne were presented at the event along with a number of distinguished guests, SLT’s senior management and officers of CFSL, Sri Lanka Police and Sri Lanka Telecom. The cycling race travelled through Panadura, Ratnapura and crossed the finish line at Embilipitiya. The winner of day one was Sandun Kumara of the Sri Lanka Navy team. The first and the second runners-up were Sujith Hasantha and Chamod De Silva respectively of the Sri Lanka Ports Authority team. 

The second day of the race starts at 9.00 a.m. today from Embilipitiya and will travel through Welawaya to Bandarawela.
