The SLTA-Yeti Hard Court Tennis Championships 2024, organised by the Sri Lanka Tennis Association (SLTA) will commence today at the SLTA and Ladies’ College Courts in Colombo.
This annual event has attracted over 1,000 entries from across the nation, highlighting the widespread passion and skill for tennis in Sri Lanka.
“Electrolytes and vitamin supplementation plays a key role in athletic performance especially in hot and humid conditions where dehydration is common. Even a small degree of dehydration can adversely affect physical and mental performance in young athletes,” Yeti Director Dr. Dilshan Balasuriya said during the launch ceremony.
CEO Malik Perera said: “At Yeti we help you to realise your sporting dreams and we consider this as a good opportunity in translating our company vision into action.”
The tennis balls for the tournament will be sponsored by Babolat Sri Lanka.
