Former Colombo Zahira Rugby Sevens skipper and popular rugby commentator Saabir Cader joined international rugby legends at Elite Player Management (EPM) as a Media and Commercial Consultant recently.

EPM, an esteemed global sports management institution, consists of former players such as David Campese (Australia), Manu Tuilagi (England), Cecil Africa (South Africa Sevens), Mike Te’o (USA), Tom Varndell (former England Sevens and Fifteens), and former Italian International Matt Bressons, who is the founder and Chief Executive officer (CEO) of EPM. Cader studied BA (Hons) Sports Management and Rugby Studies at Buckinghamshire New University (UK) 2009 – 2013, where he had great deal of exposure with Wasps and England Rugby from community coaching to working at Six Nations and London 7s at the home of English rugby, Twickenham.

Speaking to Daily FT, Cader said “I am absolutely delighted to be part of this great team. I always wanted to show the world that how passionate we are in this oval ball game.

Hopefully, this role will allow me to add more value to Sri Lanka’s rugby as well as developing Asian countries because rugby is a global game. Further I would like to thank everyone who supported in my career.”
