Sachin cruises to six stroke lead after 2 rounds
Sachin De Silva continued his excellent form of Round 1 with a two under par 69 for a two round aggregate 137 and a clear six stroke lead at the halfway mark of the September Edition of the LECTRA Grand-Prix 2019.
Co-Leader after Round One, Rajok Amarapadma returned an uncharacteristic 5 over par 76 to slip to 4th place, seven strokes adrift of the leader.
Veteran J. M. D. Indika’s even-par round put him in joint second place with Airman P. D. S. U. Kumara on an aggregate 2 Round total of 143.
Whilst the leader after 2 Rounds Sachin De Silva established a clear lead the Cut-off for the top twenty was administered at 161.
The 3rd and 4th Rounds continue at the RCGC and Sachin De Silva seems untouchable but with top players in the chasing pack anything is possible until the last putt is made at the 72nd hole.
