Sadeera to lead Sri Lanka A in series against Pakistan A

Dashing wicket-keeper batsman Sadeera Samarawickrama will lead Sri Lanka A in the upcoming unofficial Test and one-day series against Pakistan A starting later this month.

Samarawickrama has represented Sri Lanka in all three formats of the game, the last occasion being the third and final T20I against India in July, which Sri Lanka won to seal the series 2-1.

A 22-member squad has been selected to play Pakistan A in two unofficial Tests and three unofficial one-dayers.

The unofficial test series starts on 28 October in Kandy and the unofficial one-day series on 10 November in Colombo. The team has been sent to the Sports Minister for ratification. (ST)
