Saliya Kumara resigns from Isipathana

Former Vidyartha, Trinity, Kandy SC, and national player plus Havelock Sports Club and Isipathana Head Coach Saliya Kumara gave his resignation to Isipathana College after a successful three-year contract with the Greens.

Kumara led Isipathana College to become one-time League champion, one-time runner-up plus once ending in third place, along with two Knockout trophies plus a one-time runner-up position.

Kumara will continue with the ‘A’ Division Park Club while shifting back to Kandy.

According to a reliable source, he is tipped to take over the head coaching role at St. Anthony’s College, Katugastota for the 2025 rugby season.
