Samson Rajarata Tiles sponsors Lions’ Rugby 7s Kandy Tournament

Demonstrating community support and dedication to the vibrant sports culture in Kandy, Sri Lanka’s number one natural roofing and flooring tile manufacturer, Samson Rajarata Tiles proudly co-sponsored the Lions’ Rugby Sevens Tournament that took place at the Bogambara Stadium on 11 November.

The thrilling event, organised by the Trinity College Old Boys’ Association Class of ‘99, featured 12 renowned rugby-playing schools from across Sri Lanka.

Beyond the sporting spectacle, the tournament aimed to raise funds for the redevelopment of the Centre for Excellence at Trinity College, Kandy, a facility to nurture young minds through career guidance, education, and extracurricular activities.

In addition to the main tournament another highlight was a special exhibition rugby match between Kandy Sports Club and CR & FC players over 35 representing the respective clubs. The match brought together players from different eras to showcase their lasting passion for the sport.
