Donald Steel Trophy – Gents Gross – Winner Sanjeewa Wickramanayake

The much-looked-forward-to Donald Steel Golf Tournament 2019 was worked off at the beautiful Victoria Golf and Country Resort (VGCR) on 2 February.

Pam Fernando – Ladies Gross – Winner Melanie Bond

Sanjeewa Wickremanayake stamped his class by winning the Donald Steel Trophy 2019. Melanie Bond walked away with the Pam Fernando Trophy for the Ladies Gross Winner of the event.

Meanwhile Victoria Bowl Ladies Net Winner was Shirani Buffin. Young Haron Aslam (15) won the Ebert Pot Net Winner at this year’s event which saw more than 75 golfers taking part.

Junior golfers too were awarded in their respective segments at this colourful event, followed by cocktail at the VGCR.
