Sri Lanka Schools Rugby Football Association (SSRFA) has written to the Defense Ministry, after getting the green light from Sports Minister Harin Fernando to re-commence Round 2 of the Singer League 2019.
According to SSRFA President Ranjith Chandrasekera, the second round is very likely to commence on 1 June, and the remaining 4 matches to be completed in the same month. Milo Knock-Out Rugby will be worked off in early July, giving time for the players to prepare for the Advanced Level examinations, which will commence in August 2019. Schools Sevens will be worked off from the later part of August after the examinations.
Meanwhile the dates of the Bradby Shield will be decided by both school authorities as soon as the Ministry of Defense approval is given to SSRFA.
