The much awaited Elite Schools Under 20 Rugby Sevens 2023 will take place at Havelock Park (day 1) and Royal Sports Complex (day 2). In total, 22 teams will lock horns in the shorter version of the game.

This year’s event will not see three main schools S. Thomas’ College, Trinity College and Royal College as they will be not be contesting.

Though the reasons are not clear for their non-participation it’s understood that all three institutions are more focused in their XV, a side game which is just less than two months away for the kick off.

D.S. and Vidyartha are the defending champions while St. Peters who won the CR Sevens too has a very strong side. Zahira could be the dark horse of the tournament.
