Shammi heads CH

Former Nalanda College cricketer and present Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) President Shammi Silva was re-elected Chairman of the Colombo Gymkhana Club (CH&FC) at their Annual General Meeting (AGM) which concluded yesterday at the CH&FC clubhouse in Maitland Crescent.

CH&FC, though having a star-studded outfit, failed to perform well as a team in the league encounter, and is expected to hire one of the leading Head Coaches for their outfit in the coming rugby season. They did not name their rugby skipper for the 2020/2021 season but will be appointing a captain later on, as there is doubt as to whether the season could be started in November or not.

The following names were elected in the committees of the Colombo Gymkhana Club for year 2020 / 2021:
