Singapore clinched the Asian Netball title when they dethroned defending champions Sri Lanka by a narrow margin 67-64 in the final of the 13th Asian Netball championships played at Bengaluru yesterday. At full time, the scores were tied at 52-all but in extra time Singapore pulled ahead to win by a margin of three points. It was Singapore’s fourth Asian title win and their first after 10 years.
