Singer All-Island U-19 Sevens to kick off in Central Hills

The All-Island Under-19 Inter-School Rugby Sevens 2019 will be worked off at the Trinity College Rugby Stadium in Pallekelle on 21 and 22 September.

Defending champions St. Joseph’s College have already withdrawn, leaving St. Peter’s College as the hotly favoured team to clinch the tournament in the Central Hills which is the first ever schools Sevens competition held at the Under-19 level.

In total 24 teams will lock horns across eight groups, with the group leaders advancing to the Cup quarterfinals.

Group B: Kingswood, Ananda, Moratuwa MV
Group C: Zahira, Maliyadeva, Sri Rahula, Katugastota
Group D: St. Peter’s, Dharmaraja, St. Thomas Matale
Group E: St Anthony’s, Richmond, Piliyandala Central
Group F: Trinity, Lumbini, Lalith Athulathmaudali MV
Group G: Isipathana, Vidyartha, Prince of Wales
Group H: Wesley, Nalanda, Science
