There will be three matches down for decision today with the blue ribbon of Sri Lanka Schools rugby encounter between Trinity College and Royal College taking place for the Bradby Shield at the Pallekelle Rugby Stadium, and two further games down for decision in Colombo.
S. Thomas’ College vs Isipathana College at Mount Lavinia
Isipathana were beaten by Joes but won their rest of the first round matches, while the Thomians lost out to Royal and won the rest. The Thomians, who last beat Isipathana in 2010, hold the edge in forwards play but the visitors look a yard faster. Kick-off is scheduled at 4 p.m.

St. Peter’s College vs Science College at Bambalapitiya
St. Peter’s are among the favourites to secure the Singer League having lost out only to the Thomians in the opening game, which was shock for all but lived up to high standards afterwards. Both sides are filled with fast running three quarters under their belt. Science College just made it to the Cup with wins over Zahira and St. Anthony’s.

St. Joseph’s vs Wesley at Longdon Place
The only unbeaten side in the Singer league, Joes will play Wesley on 3 June at Longdon Place. Led by Tharindu De Alwis, the Joes outfit have been tipped to pull off the League for the very first time in their Rugby History. Wesley will need to play consistent rugby if they want to upset the Joes with a win.
75th Bradby Shield at Pallekelle
Trinity will host Royal at Pallekelle in their 75th Bradby Shield encounter. Trinity is leading the series with 39 to Royal’s 33, and two ending in ties.
